Just as with friends in a crowded room, Alaskan Humpback Whales talk louder, stay close together, and try to keep their conversation simple. That's because their seas are noisy from cruise ships. They're spreading out more, communicating to each other from much farther away, napping, singing new songs, and mothers are allowing their calves to play more freely in open water. Now who says quiet time isn't any fun? 🐳
