Our efforts to produce the finest flipbooks imaginable began prior to 2002...

...that year, we developed X-Flipz, the "extreme flipbooks", by marrying the 140 year-old technology of flipbooks to the latest in sporting entertainment. The series of action pictorials featured stars of the X-Games competitions, along with other leading champions in skateboard, motocross, BMX, and other "extreme" sports. An affiliation with the Core Tour national series of extreme sports events made X-Flipz a presence from Jones Beach, NY to Venice Beach, CA. Custom, branded flipbooks for companies like Plugg Clothing soon followed.

In 2005, we began work with the American Zoo Association

Realizing the greater potential of flipbooks, our goal was to develop a high quality, yet affordable, educational product for patrons of their member zoos, aquariums, and preserves, with an emphasis on school-aged visitors. Featuring the finest in nature photography, and with species information representing the latest in scientific knowledge of the animal world, Zooflipz launched to immediate popularity.

Today, Flipworkz products are featured items in hundreds of bookstores, visitor centers, and giftshops throughout North America.

Now, entering our third decade, our mission has remained the same: to educate and entertain children of all ages, and to support and advance animal and environmental conservation efforts through the production and sale of the finest flipbooks imaginable.

Flipworkz is proud to be a sustaining member of the Public Lands Alliance, working to preserve, promote, and insure that our public lands will remain a part of the American experience for generations to come.

Our Mission

At Flipworkz, we feel that a company should make every effort to provide the utmost quality and lasting value in its products. To every extent possible, they should be domestically sourced, and produced in a environmentally conscious manner.

All of us have seen, far too often, products intended for children with compromised levels of quality in parts, construction, and design. The excuse that "it's just for kids" for substandard goods is unjustifiable: if anything, products for children should meet a higher standard, given the relative value given them by their young owners.
