After decades of deep sea exploration off the coast of Central California, thousands of pearl octopuses have been discovered thriving in the warm waters of the Davidson Seamount, an underwater volcano. Sea biologists said they actually were residing near a cave and in the shade--just like the Beatles' song “Octopus Garden”!
