Save the Sharks!
The second Friday of May has been designated to honor sharks, and to teach children the importance of promoting their conservation. Sharks pre-date dinosaurs, and even trees, by hundreds of millions of years! Yet, currently, most shark species are in danger of extinction.
May 12, 2023 is also known as Fintastic Friday, and offers a worldwide opportunity for children to spread the word about saving this historic, important, and most majestic aquatic animal. Happy Fintastic Friday!
